The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network funds grants for biomedical research in order to better understand the causes of pancreatic cancer and to advance its prevention, detection, treatment and cure. The main output of this research is new knowledge. To ensure this knowledge can be accessed, read, and built upon in fulfillment of our goals, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network expects its researchers to publish their findings in peer-reviewed journals.
All peer-reviewed articles supported in whole or in part by Pancreatic Cancer Action Network grants awarded in 2013 and later must be made available in the PubMed Central online archive in accordance with the following conditions:
The effective date is Pancreatic Cancer Action Network grants awarded in 2013 and later.
The manuscript version required is the final, peer-reviewed manuscript version.
The embargo period is no later than 12 months after the official date of publication.
The repository is PubMed Central (PMC).
