Public Access Policies: Foundations, Charities and Organizations

Funding Organization

The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) is the nation's largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and providing people with lymphoma and healthcare professionals with up-to-date information about this type of cancer. LRF's mission is to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease.

Policy

 It is a condition of LRF that all peer-reviewed articles supported in whole or in part by its grants must be made available in the PubMed Central online archive in accordance with the following conditions:

  • Authors are to deposit an electronic copy of the final peer-reviewed manuscripts in PubMed Central immediately upon acceptance for journal publication.
  • The manuscript is to be made publicly available in PubMed Central no later than 12 months after the official date of journal publication.

This requirement applies to all LRF grants awarded after May 01, 2012.

Effective Date

The effective date is LRF grants awarded after May 01, 2012.

Manuscript Version Required

The manuscript version required is the final, peer-reviewed manuscript version.

Embargo Period

 The embargo period is no later than 12 months after the official date of publication.

Repository

 The repository is PubMed Central (PMC).
