New York Times School of Medicine Access

Activate Your Access to The New York Times

 

On-Campus at the School of Medicine Directions - How to create a New York Times Account 

  • Use the following link: https://nytimesineducation.com/access-nyt/
  • Search for and click the listing for “Washington University School of Medicine – Saint Louis, MO” , if required.
  • Choose the “On campus click here” option
  • Click Create Account and and complete registration fields.  Use your wustl.edu email address.

Note: If you have trouble creating your account, check that you are on a WUSM wi-fi network

 

Off-Campus via the Becker Library remote access proxy server Directions - How to create a New York Times Account 

  • Do not use VPN.  Account creation will not work on a VPN connection.
  • Use the following link: https://beckerproxy.wustl.edu/login?url=https://ezmyaccount.nytimes.com/grouppass/redir 
  • Login to the Libraries’ proxy server with your WUSTL key credentials
  • Search for and click the listing for “Washington University School of Medicine  – Saint Louis, MO” , if required.
  • Click Create Account and complete registration fields. Use your wustl.edu email address.

Note: If you've had an NYT account through WashU in the past, you may not be asked to select a school.

Content Included in the Campus-Wide Access Account

The Campus-Wide Account includes the content of a Basic Digital Access Subscription: Unlimited articles, podcasts, videos, and the NYTimes app (iOS and Android). It does not include access to e-reader editions (e.g., Kindle, Nook, etc.), Wirecutter, New York Times Games or NYT Cooking.
