Evidence Based Practice or (EBP) "is a problem solving approach to clinical decision making" that "integrates the best scientific evidence with the best experiential evidence." EBP uses "research, organizational experience, clinical expertise, expert opinion, and patient preferences" to encourage the implementation of best interventions and practices.
