My Bibliography: Publication Compliance Status Box

One new feature of the updated My Bibliography is the Publication Compliance Status box located to the right of each citation in a My Bibliography account.

There are four colors each indicating the current status of a citation.

• Green: Citations with a PMCID or PMC Journal - In Process; compliant with the NIH Policy.
• Blue: Citations with a NIHMSID and within a 90 day post-publication window.
• Red: Citations that do not have a PMCID within 90 days post-publication and/or "not defined." Click the Edit Status to start the compliance process.
• Gray: Citations that are exempt from the NIH Policy.

The Edit Status tool allows for noting why a work is not applicable under the NIH Policy. The Edit Status tool appears in the Publication Compliance Status box for the citation.
