Michelle Doering, MLS
Michelle is a medical librarian at Becker Medical Library and serves the physicians, students, and hospital staff of the WUSM community. She has completed over a dozen search strategies for systematic reviews. She has taught classes on EBM, library resources, and an introductory search strategy class for graduate students conducting systematic reviews. Michelle has a very unique mixed breed dog, a Terrier-Snuggleupagus.
Laura Simon, MLISLaura serves as clinical librarian and liaison to Washington University’s affiliate teaching hospital, Barnes Jewish Hospital. As liaison, Laura assists nurses, allied health professionals, residents, interns, medical students, and clinical researchers with research needs and supports EBM and EBP projects at the hospital. Laura enjoys collaborating with library patrons on Systematic Reviews and was recently included as co-author on a Systematic Review accepted for publication in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Angela Hardi, MLIS, AHIP
Angela is a clinical resources librarian at Becker Medical Library. She has created search strategies for dozens of systematic reviews and has received co-authorship for published systematic reviews in journals like Urology and the British Journal of Ophthalmology. Angela’s professional interests include education technology, assessment, instructional design, medical education/curriculum, systematic reviews, and global health.
Lauren Yaeger, MA, MLIS
Lauren Yaeger is a seasoned clinical librarian supporting systematic reviews, teaching/course planning, and literature searching. She has a Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois and a Masters of Arts in English Literature from Saint Louis University and spent over 8 years as the point of care clinical librarian at St. Louis Children’s Hospital where she was embedded in clinical rounds, ethics, UBJPTs, journal clubs, and the residency program while working on the occasional systematic review. She is passionate about Embase, instructional design, working with research teams, systematic reviews, and EBP!
