PubMed is the free interface for searching Medline, which indexes over 22 million citations in the field of biomedicine. It is free to search PubMed from anywhere, but you will get more link-outs to full text when you are on the WUSM or the Danforth campus networks. Uses a controlled vocabulary called Medical Subject Headings (MeSH)
The Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL) is a bibliographic database that provides a highly concentrated source of reports of randomized controlled trials. Records contain the list of authors, the title of the article, the source, volume, issue, page numbers, and, in many cases, a summary of the article (abstract). They do not contain the full text of the article.
The ICTRP Search Portal aims to provide a single point of access to information about ongoing and completed clinical trials. It provides a searchable database containing the trial registration data sets made available by data providers around the world meeting criteria for content and quality control.
